Marguisa Shipping Lines, an international shipping company within the Sea & Ports Group, is expanding its Marguisa Feeder Service (MFS) in West Africa. The company is adding the 2010-built multipurpose vessel MSM Don to its fleet, which will directly enhance the MFS service to São Tomé and Príncipe.
In addition to fleet expansion, Marguisa is broadening the MFS service network with the addition of Port Gentil in Gabon as a new port of call starting February 1, 2025. These strategic developments will allow Marguisa to better cater to the diverse needs of its customers, transforming the MFS service into a “butterfly” service. This new structure will consist of two distinct loops: the first, a three-weekly rotation between Bata and São Tomé, with two stopovers; and the second, a bi-weekly service connecting Bata and Port Gentil, the company said.
The charter of this new multipurpose vessel underscores Marguisa’s commitment to meeting the growing demands of the West African shipping market. It also reinforces the company’s focus on providing logistical solutions that exceed expectations for excellence and sustainability within the various industries operating in the region.
With a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction, Marguisa continues to invest in its fleet, technology, and infrastructure to ensure efficient and reliable shipping services.
