CSC Career Fair: Shipping “A Sea of Careers”

The first Career Fair, “Shipping – A Sea of Careers”, took place on Sunday, November 18, at the Carob Mill venue, in Limassol.

The event was organised by the Cyprus Shipping Chamber and several of the Chamber’s Member-Companies, Academic Institutions and Organisations participated and were ready to inform the public about career choices and opportunities within the Shipping Industry. The opening ceremony of the event was attended by the Shipping Deputy Minister, the Ministry of Education and Culture, Limassol Mayor and other officials.

The implementation of the first Shipping Career Fair , is part of a continuous and wider effort of the Shipping Chamber to educate young people who have a keen interest in professions linked with the Maritime Sector, as well as, the need to continually reconfirm that modern maritime education is the key to stabilise and grow the Shipping Industry and be able to maintain its pace of progress and expansion.
